MEDIA, FILMING & PHOTOGRAPHY POLICY

We love celebrating achievements — but we always protect privacy and comfort first.
This policy ensures our studio remains a safe and respectful environment.

Photos & Videos in Class

  • No filming or photography during classes by parents or students, unless permission is granted by the instructor for that moment.

  • This protects the privacy, dignity and focus of all students.

Showcase & Special Events

Photography & filming are usually welcomed at:

  • End-of-term Showcases

  • Special performance events

However:

  • If a parent or student requests no photos, this will be respected.

Studio-Produced Photos & Media

We sometimes take class photos or short clips to:

  • Celebrate progress

  • Highlight studio life

  • Promote future programs

We will only share media publicly (website or social media):

  • If the student’s parent/guardian has signed a media consent form, and

  • The image/video is respectful, appropriate and empowering.

Consent can be:

  • Yes

  • No

  • Yes, but only private studio groups

  • Yes, but only with face blurred

  • Yes, but only when individual name is NOT used

We honour ALL versions of consent.

Tagging & Names

We never tag children by name publicly.
If a parent chooses to share and tag — that is their choice, not the studio’s.

Opt-Out Is Always Allowed

Students or parents may change their media preference any time.
Just message us — no explanation required.
